The Art of Welcoming

The main goal of this project was to make the waiting time in a common area of a train station, when waiting for someone you didn’t see for a long time, more meaningful. Through investigating and exploring different interactions a more meaningful waiting time was achieved. The Art of Welcoming concept offers a way to express admiration to the person that is arriving and provides a special moment of encounter. Evoked emotions were used to infuse the idea generation process.
